Princess of Wales, Diana
Given that the “Diana 25 years on” tributes are well underway, it may be worthwhile to consider one of the most likely historical “what ifs”: What if the Princess of Wales was not in the car accident that claimed her life in Paris on the evening of August 31, 1997? What if Diana had been there for last year’s celebration of her 60th birthday? How would life have been during the past twenty-five years for her and the monarchy?
First of all, the monarchy as a whole would not have experienced the abrupt and significant decline in support it did in the wake of her passing, when even the most slavishly royalist members of the press and the public began to wonder if the Queen and the rest of the company had lost their touch.
Difficulties for Price Charles
It would have been incredibly difficult for Prince Charles to live if she had remained on Earth. While she was his wife, Diana outshone and overshadowed him through no fault of her own, and if she hadn’t gotten a divorce, Diana, Princess of Wales, likely would have done the same.

Exceptional Dancer Michael Jackson
We would be commemorating renowned author Michael Jackson’s 81st year in 2023 if he hadn’t passed away from difficulties related to Parkinson’s disease. If you’re under forty, likely, you’ve never read a line of his writing and, at most, know him from rumors. That is somewhat due to how long it has been since his passing (three or four lifetimes in beer years), but it is also due to how little is written about beer these days. People clung to Jackson’s statements throughout the late 1970s and through the turn of the century. There was no internet, and finding information on beer was challenging. Jackson was a must-read if you wanted to learn about beer back then.
Jackson would have kept writing if he hadn’t passed away. Ten years his junior, Martyn Cornell, has a new history of Porter coming out. Three years Jackson’s senior, Roger Protz, still writes. Ron Pattinson is not a youngster. If writers could stop, they wouldn’t have become writers (writing is an affliction, not a vocation). It is hard to know what he may have written, but it is far simpler to presume that the writing would have continued for years in some fashion.

Sir Freddie Mercury
Sir Freddie Mercury, one of the most significant voices in human history, passed away on November 24, 1991. After a protracted battle with AIDS, Queen’s frontman passed away at the age of 45. Even now, 30 years after his passing, the majority of his greatest hits are still played at concerts, pubs, radio stations, and most importantly, in the hearts of his countless fans. Roger Taylor, the drummer for Queen, has said that if Freddie Mercury were still alive, the legendary band would still be active today.
The group, which continues to perform the songs on tour with Adam Lambert, hasn’t put out new music since 1995’s Made in Heaven, which was released four years after Freddie’s passing. In an interview with the BBC, Roger expressed his opinion that Queen would still be active today if Freddie hadn’t passed away in 1991. I do think that Roger remarked. We were quite close, and Freddie was my closest friend. Given how well we worked together, I think we would still be working together today.
Following Freddie’s passing, bassist John Deacon quit music in 1997.

Bruce Lee
Even though Bruce Lee tragically passed away in 1973 at the age of 32, people still acknowledge him as one of the most influential figures in the martial arts genre. If he had not passed away in Hong Kong, one can’t help but wonder how his circumstances might be different. Let’s imagine what kind of influence he might have on the globe.
Appear in dreadful movies.
Even the biggest stars encounter it. Even if you were one of the most well-known people in the field, you start accepting assignments that are under your talent level once you reach a certain age. Bruce Lee might appear as a character’s granddad in a corny drama.

American Singer Janis Joplin
In her hotel room, legendary American singer Janis Joplin passed away at the age of just 27 from a heroin overdose 52 years ago. Janis Joplin is the ’70s lost an icon in many respects. She produced some amazing songs while living a quick and brief life. Joplin, though, hasn’t quite attained the same lofty position as some of her contemporaries. Janis Joplin’s work is somehow become more remarkable even though her songs aren’t used as the backdrop for countless commercials, her albums don’t occupy prime real estate in record shops, and her face isn’t plastered on a million bedroom walls. People believe she would still occasionally like singing, but we don’t believe she would do it in public settings. It would likely depend on the condition of her voice later in life if it didn’t alter too much.
As she grew older, we could picture her enjoying life and perhaps doing something artistic.
Wrapping Up
Although all these personalities are no more with us, their work and contribution in their specific fields will always make sure that we remember them. All these predictions of their future are either guesses or predictions and have nothing to do with reality.
