Tiktoker Evan Rugen (@bowerboi), who was out with friends at a bar, claims in a TikTok video that he requested the bartender for a nonalcoholic beverage. Tiktoker claims that after verifying with the bartender that his drink would be alcohol-free, he twice asked the server the same question. The waiter gave him a drink that was still alcoholic.
Full of Vodka
Rugen, who has been clean for 16 months and does not drink any alcoholic drink since then, said of the beverage, “It’s just like full of vodka.” My stomach begins to ache. Rugen claims that despite tasting alcohol in his drink, the server certified once more that it was alcohol-free. He was adamant that the drink is non-alcoholic even after the tiktoker recognized the alcohol present in it.
Free Marketplace
Rugen’s TikTok, which had nearly 50,000 views on Tuesday, stated, “I’m just so exhausted.” When will this be over? “TikTok is the free marketplace of social media,” he asserts. It is not yet profitable. It is a very beneficial platform to make people aware of many things that they don’t know. In an interview with a channel and its follow-up TikTok, Tiktoker Rugen said that the bar in New York City’s Goodnight Sonny was the one that gave him alcohol despite his repeated requests for nonalcoholic beverages.
The bar’s demands for comment from the channel were not immediately fulfilled.
Encounter with Goodnight Sonny
The bar generally does a great job, according to Rugen. Studies suggest that young people are sober-curious and many of them have an allergy to alcohol, so bars will need to be very careful about this going forward.
