“The man in the video is black. You guys are seeking any excuse to criticise me because it’s cool. Please note that his father is black and Dominican. All love, bro,” allegedly Adin wrote. Afterwards, Adin addressed several contentious matters relating to his streams in a video titled Adin Ross’ Reaction to Getting “Cancelled.”
He brought up the epithet when admonishing people not to be racist, adding at one point: “They were merely attempting to blame me for it. I’m not even close to his father.” Yet this wasn’t the first time the streamer has gotten into trouble on Twitch. He was barred from the platform in April 2021 after reportedly uttering a homophobic insult. Adin defended himself, telling Twitch staff that he did not use the offensive term and that he had instead answered a call from another YouTuber who had.
